Children's Ministries
Children's ministries is such an exciting part of our church. As our motto states, our purpose is to nurture and encourage children to Know Jesus, Love Jesus, Serve Jesus. Our mission is to love every child like Jesus loves them; immerse every child in prayer; provide opportunities for children to experience Jesus and to grow in living a life pleasing to Him through prayer and the Word of God; and to provide a safe environment for children.
Children Kindergarten through 6th Grade can go to Children's Church during the sermon.
Younger children can go to the nursery/preschool area for kiddies' church our volunteer assistants.
One of the most effective (and fun) avenues of outreach to children in our area is our annual Vacation Bible School. It is one week of wild, purposeful chaos! Singing, acting, Bible stories, snacks, crafts, and games are fun and exciting ways to encourage children in their spiritual growth.
We offer many other special activities throughout the year: The Light of the Night Festival (a safe Halloween alternative Trunk-or-Treat event), Easter activities, Christmas activities, and opportunities for community service.
At Bitterroot Valley Church of the Nazarene, we are excited about children and excited about children growing in their relationship with Jesus.
